On 9 August, in morning, I finally get to Israel. Israel, this wonderful country. After an hour and a half bus, I finally
get to Tel Aviv. I sit in my hotel and I hasten to go to Jerusalem.
The City of Gold, the Eternal City, the city of David, Jerusalem has always been a crossroads between East and West, between worlds and peoples very different from each other a few hundred square meters located the most important sacred places of the three main monotheistic religions: the Western Wall, the Mosque of Omar and the Holy Sepulcher. Scenery from the very history of modern civilization, Jerusalem has a mosaic of cultures, which is even more evident if one considers the diverse origins of its population. Jews, Arabs, Christians and Druze live in a balance that remains difficult. The marriage between the old and new, between attachment to tradition and the race to the future is reflected in the structure of the city where historic buildings alongside the achievements of the technological era, creating a stunning panorama.

At the foot of the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque stands the imposing Western Wall, which originally backed the foundations of the Temple of Solomon. There is no other place in the world is much revered by Jews, the children of Israel came there to pray and to express their sorrow at the ruins of the House of God. When, in 1967, Jerusalem was reunited, the old structures that hid part of the Wailing Wall were slaughtered and eManager is a wide plaza to collect the hundreds of faithful who find themselves there every day. Today, this place is sacred, and men must go head covered. Since, following the Jewish religion, men and women can not pray together, the Wall has been divided into two sectors.
It's so beautiful, there is need to see at least once in our life ! Nothing can be more beautiful than the Wailing Wall.
Then, in the afternoon, I went to the Yad Vashem Memorial.

Shrine of remembrance and memory of a people, the austere sanctuary of Yad Vashem, which stands on the hill of Memories is dedicated to the millions of Jews murdered by the Nazis. On a high column of thirty meters in front of the building is written: "Zkor" (which means "remember"). Inside are a documentation center and an exhibition impresionante, which illustrates the history of anti-Semitic persecution from 1933 to 1945. The Ohel Yizhor is a moving crypt-sanctuary on the ground, are engraved the names of twenty-two main camps. During a brief ceremony, a flame is lit every morning at eleven o'clock.

After an entire afternoon visit, I returned to my hotel. See you tomorrow !
