On 9 August, in morning, I finally get to Israel. Israel, this wonderful country. After an hour and a half bus, I finally get to Tel Aviv. I sit in my hotel and I hasten to go to Jerusalem.

The City of Gold, the Eternal City, the city of David, Jerusalem has always been a crossroads between East and West, between worlds and peoples very different from each other a few hundred square meters located the most important sacred places of the three main monotheistic religions:
the Western Wall, the Mosque of Omar and the Holy Sepulcher. Scenery from the very history of modern civilization, Jerusalem has a mosaic of cultures, which is even more evident if one considers the diverse origins of its population. Jews, Arabs, Christians and Druze live in a balance that remains difficult. The marriage between the old and new, between attachment to tradition and the race to the future is reflected in the structure of the city where historic buildings alongside the achievements of the technological era, creating a stunning panorama.

At the foot of the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque stands the imposing Western Wall, which originally backed the foundations of the Temple of Solomon. There is no other place in the world is much revered by Jews, the children of Israel came there to pray and to express their sorrow at the ruins of the House of God. When, in 1967, Jerusalem was reunited, the old structures that hid part of the Wailing Wall were slaughtered and eManager is a wide plaza to collect the hundreds of faithful who find themselves there every day. Today, this place is sacred, and men must go head covered. Since, following the Jewish religion, men and women can not pray together, the Wall has been divided into two sectors.

It's so beautiful, there is need to see at least once in our life !
Nothing can be more beautiful than the Wailing Wall.

Then, in the afternoon, I went to the Yad Vashem Memorial.

Shrine of remembrance and memory of a people, the austere sanctuary of Yad Vashem, which stands on the hill of Memories is dedicated to the millions of Jews murdered by the Nazis. On a high column of thirty meters in front of the building is written: "Zkor" (which means "remember"). Inside are a documentation center and an exhibition impresionante, which illustrates the history of anti-Semitic persecution from 1933 to 1945. The Ohel Yizhor is a moving crypt-sanctuary on the ground, are engraved the names of twenty-two main camps. During a brief ceremony, a flame is lit every morning at eleven o'clock.

After an hour's drive, 50 miles, to be precise, I finally get to Tel Aviv ! Tel Aviv is the most dynamic city of Israel in a few decades, the old town was transformed into a bustling urban center with broad avenues to the heavy traffic, and brimming with shops, cinemas , shops, cafes, cultural centers, art galleries and museums. The animation of Tel Aviv ceases neither day nor night, like the big cities. Restaurants and nightclubs are open only late at night, and every year the theater will succeed. The city also enjoys a mild climate and a very good position. A few steps from the business, the sea stretches out, luminous and clear, its sandy beaches, well equipped, linking Tel Aviv to old Jaffa.

I went to Jaffa. Jaffa, which is now part of Tel Aviv, was once the port of Jerusalem. Founded by legend Jafet, son of Noah, is now a commercial and artistic animation, which still has a very bohemian with its many art galleries, craft exhibitions and sidewalk cafe frequented by artists avant-garde writers and journalists.

After that, I'm going to see the Mann Auditorium. It is the headquarters of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

To finish my day in Tel Aviv, I'm going on the beaches, which are... beautiful ! The sea is very warm. My day ends there.

Today is my last day in Israel and today I am going to the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea, spectacular creating of the nature.

http://www.searchisrael.fr/lieuximg/-1211735995-1.jpeg

The Dead Sea, which is 80 kilometers long and 17 wide, lies in the deepest pit of the tectonic crust, about 395 meters below the sea level and is surrounded by a very arid landscape. In the north where the Jordan is lost in its sands, moisture allows the growth of sparse vegetation on the south, the salinity of the water higher, creates spectacular crystalline concretions along shoreline. Thanks to (grâce à) the special climatic and atomosphere of this region, major resorts there are developed.

Buried in a large fault era when the continent broke away from the base including Turkey and the Middle East, the Dead Sea is never covered by moist winds that make the region so fertile in the West of Jerusalem. Ten times saltier than any other sea, and so dense that it is virtually impossible to sink, is actually a still and silent lake, fed by the Jordan. In its waters, the concentration of sodium chloride and many other minerals is very high and people must bathe then rinse quickly with fresh water. It is however the presence of these elements that gives the water of the Dead Sea important therapeutic properties used in various spas to treat skin diseases and respiratory tract.

Then, I managed to distinguish the arid rocky desert surrounding the Dead Sea.

Then, I am going to swim in the oasis of Ein Gedi. Its freshwater springs and lush, is a paradise in the arid unforgiving of the Dead Sea.
